Group classes

My teaching is a fusion of traditional yoga poses with more contemporary movement sequences, with a focus on correct alignment and clarity of mind. No two classes are the same but will include:

  • breath control and techniques (pranayama)
  • poses for flexibility, balance, coordination and strength (asana)
  • mindful relaxation (savasana), meditation or yoga philosophy

Mellow Flow:

A mixed-ability class to build your yoga foundations, to learn technique and alignment and increase your confidence and stamina.

Level: beginners-improvers.

Dynamic Flow:

A mixed-ability class where we’ll explore and experiment together and seek to challenge and deepen your practice. 

Level: intermediate-experienced.

Monday Evening Group Classes 60 minutes:

Mellow Flow: 6.30-7.30pm
Mellow Flow: 7.45-8.45pm

Thursday Monthly Move + Meditate Semi-Private Lessons 70 minutes:

Move the body, sooth the mind, explore and deepen your practice in a small, connected group in my lovely home studio in Shoreham. 

Level: not suitable for beginners

First Thursday of the month (except school hols)

6 June, 4 July, 12 September, 3 October, 7 November, 5 December
£18 per class (very limited spaces)

Private and Semi-Private Lessons

Bespoke lessons to suit your own personal requirements take place in my peaceful, fully-equipped home studio in Shoreham Village, Kent.

For all ages and levels. Available year-round for one-to-one, couples, semi-private groups of two to six people and families.

Why work with me privately?

Private yoga lessons offer many benefits to those who have busy lives, require individual attention, prefer the focus of a quieter setting or wish to gain confidence to transition to a group class:

  • Beginners learn the foundations of yoga, breath control and mindfulness
  • Experienced yogis deepen their practice and explore more challenging poses
  • Those with a physical limitation, injury or health condition learn a safe, specifically adapted practice
  • Pre-teens & teens can enjoy yoga in a relaxed, safe environment, improve strength and flexibility and manage anxiety
  • Athletes can complement, balance and improve their existing sport or exercise regime (runners, cyclists, golfers and more)

Private 1:1 60 minutes: from £50
Private 1:1 75 minutes: from £60
Semi-private (2 students): 60 minutes from £60
Semi-private (3-6 students): 60 minutes please enquire

I find Lucy’s classes a great mix of technical yoga and mindfulness. They have a great flow from waking up the body, progressing to challenging moves and sequences and finally a super warm-down and relaxation opportunity to end – all guided by Lucy’s careful eye and gentle encouragement.

I would not hesitate to recommend both the group classes and private lessons to friends.
